Happy Valentine's Day Mommies!

Don't miss this Thursday's meeting where we'll have a lesson on tablescapes from Brooke Morrow, a consultant with Southern Living at Home. Also a fun hot chocolate bar with all the fixin's!

Our collection item for the month of February is something to send to Josh Garcia, a soldier stationed in Iraq. So if you have hard candy, tolietries, books, games, and non-perishable food items, bring them!

Hi girls...

Hope your Christmas and New Year's were wonderful! We're so excited to see you again this Thursday morning, January 10, for MOPS. The theme will be "Getting Your House in Order" and our featured speaker will be Nikki Mundkowsky, a local attorney, who will advise us on estate planning and guardianship and other things young families need to know!

Holiday Fun

For our December meeting Pastor Tom shared some encouragement for keeping the Christmas season full of Christ. We had an ornament exchange and enjoyed hanging out and talking. We made fleece baby blankets for Hope Pregnancy Center and made Hershey kisses ornaments. It was nice to slow down for a few hours and just laugh together.

New start time in January

We'll be officially starting our meetings later beginning in January. We were meeting from 9-11:30 but we're going to begin now at 9:30 and end at 11:30. Our first meeting in January will be on the 10th. Hope to see you there.

MOPS Christmas party

This Thursday will be our December MOPS meeting from 9 am until 11:30 am. If you would like to participate in an ornament exchange, bring a wrapped ornament with no name on it. We'll hear an Advent devotional from Pastor Tom and make fleece blankets and kissing balls. If a few people want to bring something to snack on that would be great! See you then!

Reminders for November meeting...

Our Thanksgiving meeting is this Thursday, November 8th. Bring a potluck dish to share! At 11 am we'll bring the big kids down for lunch and to assemble the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Remember, we are packing a boy and girl shoebox for ages 2-4. Here's a list of what to bring and what not to bring. Remember, this is an opportunity, not an obligation, so if you're already participating through your home church or some other avenue, that's great!

Also this week will be the last week to turn in Antiquities monies.
